Unresolved dependencies!

Postby SeetecRon » Thu Jun 28, 2012 3:04 pm

Hi. TW has just cost me about two weeks work again! A scene I was working on for no apparent reason has decided to throw an 'unresolved dependencies' error. When I say yes to resolve error I get an unknown exception error! What is annoying me is that I cannot get into the scene to fix it because the damn scene wants to publish each time! Is there anyway to get into it. Bearing in mind that the scene had not actually changed from the previous time it was opened!

Hello,

Have you moved directories around at all? Particularly, the location or names of the asset files. If this is not the case, could you please send over the journey and asset files to me at gregg.remmer@caspianlearning.co.uk? (These will most likely be too large to do via e-mail and so I suggest using the site https://www.wetransfer.com/ or an equivalent.)

Thanks,
Gregg

No. Nothing has been moved. I simply moved from one scene to another to examine what variables I needed to carry forward to the next scene and when I went back to edit the scene I got the dependency error. I cannot seem to open the URL you listed for transfer. Is it correct or should it be webtransfer.com?

That seems very strange. 'wetransfer' is the correct name for the site. Any web-based data transfer site that you can access is fine. https://www.yousendit.com/ is another one that I am familiar with.

Thanks,
Gregg

Hi think its the blocker on our network seeing it as an unsolicited site. Ill have to copy it on a stick and send it from home.
