Your first point is a bug. The main description is being used instead of the inventory description.
We will fix in the next patch / release.
The Tw inventory itself does not allow you to select an item to reuse, add back into the scene or otherwise interact with an objct that has been collected. You can, however, use the 'Test if object in inventory', 'Alter Inventory', and 'Entoty Control' nodes in combintion to simulate this and allow learners to manipulate the inventory in a number of ways. We ourselves have used custom HUDs to as an inventory alternative to increase this sort of functionality.
