Character Freezes when entering a scene

A bit of a strange one. I have a sim that requires the character to move between different scenes. I have a scene whereby the character in 1st person view approaches a door and on selecting to open it is transported into a washroom. I have used a different scene betcause the current scene does not contain the correct room style. All is going well as the character in that room appears where I placed the character initially. I need to leave that scene and return to the original scene I came from. This is done by approaching the washroom door and selecting an option dialogue choice. This works OK but I have to place the character back in the other scene in a different place from where they first entered. I am using a marker for this. They enter the room ok on the marker and then 'freeze'. I can rotate the character but cannot move them off the spot where they materialised. Any ideas?

Hi,

This is usually due to being moved inside a wall or other object. I would suggest moving the marker slightly further from the door or from any nearby objects.
